Soul City Steam
A fusion of a coffee shop and laundromat, Soul City Steam is a magazine design addresses practical needs while fostering community and well-being in Jackson, Mississippi. Designed as a collaboration with Dwell Magazine, Belhaven University, and The Community Foundation of Mississippi, the project integrates insights from twelve influential designers to create an accessible, community-centered space.
My role included ideation, research, layout design, Photoshop, typesetting, and website design. Deliverables—created using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma—include a magazine design, web elements, and interior concepts.
